Surprise

to everyone including myself: Just a few things going on in my life lately that I didn't expect. . .

• I completely have a crush on Jimmer Fredette. (wouldn't our babies be soooo cute?... just sayin' ;) ) Everyone knows how much I love me a hottie athlete!
  
• Also, I have to give props to BYU for this awesome display:

(It's also no secret how much I LOVE flash mobs) but that will be a post for another day. However, I do need to make it clear that I'm in no way, shape or form a BYU fan. Not today anyway, Jimmer dearest. ;)

• I am participating in Lent. Is that weird? Well, it sort of goes along with my training program so I thought it wouldn't be too bad of an idea for the next few weeks before my big race. Plus a co-worker is doing it and I am always up for a good challenge. Hopefully I won't get struck by lightening by doing something sacrelig to either church. :}
• I don't completely hate all of my classes. I might enjoy a little biology here and there. sshhh! That being said, I'm still STOKED about spring break next week! eeekk!
  
• I might love to sing to B. Spears and A. Lavigne's new songs. in the car. by myself. (but don't worry I NEVER get them stuck in my head or anything). I know, totally painful to admit. Oh wait, I will always be a pop queen.
• I think Glee is getting a little too...what's the word? Liberal? Riskay? Over the top? Even for me. and it makes me sad.
  
• I love my new car which is a pretty big deal. I was determined to be pissed about THAT whole situation for ever. oh well.
  
• I have survived exactly one half of the worst.semester.ever. I can do this! Can't wait for that summer sun!!!!!!!!!!!!
• My life. I didn't expect my life to be anything like it is right now. When I was young I had everything planned out....And while it's nothing like I thought it would be, I'm surprisingly so grateful for that. I'm grateful for the trials I've endured, the paths I've chosen and mostly for the incredible people I've met along the way. I have courage and faith in the unknown. It's actually all very exciting! I have NO idea where life will take me and I couldn't be happier not having a plan. (for once) :)
